The Brief
The founders of VietNet Global came to us with nothing more than an idea for bringing together the Vietnamese community in the U.K. with the goal of eventually connecting the Vietnamese on a global scale.
The goal was to bring together businesses and customers while also building a community for all to network and grow.

The challenge
The development of VietNet Global was a complex process. They wanted something similar to gumtree incorporating a directory and forum. The challenge was to incorporate this in a way that was easy for the user to understand and navigate. We decided to develop & incorporate 2 websites into one with the main website being the directory.
The forum feature allows users to register and network online also giving them and businesses the opportunity to sponsor and feature their posts.

RESULTS
Mobile app
VietNet Global wanted to be the world’s first directory and marketing advertising platform designed to bring together the Vietnamese community in the U.K. Like most businesses, the app was built to mirror the website on both Android and IOS. And as with the website, user experience and ease of navigation was at the forefront of the project.

After doing some research we discovered the Vietnamese boat people (people who fled the war in Vietnam by boat for the U.K. in 1978) So we decided that using an old-style Vietnamese boat crossing the water was a great way to build a distinctive brand that would resonate not only with the Vietnamese but with the Vietnamese community outside of Vietnam.
